A little late, but at least not days. I need to argue on Twitter less. Child sex slavery, pop culture bullshit, and more war deaths. Oh, and that stuff in the title. This one’s a riproar. I got my groove back.
Well thankya – subbing to your YT now, BTW.https://t.co/IrTlQ2CMOw

Free speech absolutism article:
This season’s featured song is Sway, by Know Your Enemy – who graciously allowed me to use the song. It’s fucking criminal how unknown this band is. Go change that by liking their vid, subbing to their YT, and getting some merch if you really like it.
It’s Justin Bieber’s Birthday today. Resident bucket-pisser, and pop-star-misusing-legitimate-talent is now still younger than me.
And the Jonas Brothers dropped an album. It’s 2012, y’all.
Not to mention that Cardi B and Bruno Mars came out with a “Please Me” video.
Then the “MoMo challenge” comes out, and media freaks, parents do too.
PhillyD even covered it to tell people it’s just a meme.
But Beau at TFC put it well.
“We don’t spend enough time with out kids. We use YT, Children’s shows as a babysitter. Maybe it happened, but we wouldn’t know. Instinctively, we know this is wrong. We know that the society we’ve created that and demands this… [means] we’re not involved. Generally…. We sell hours of our lives to some faceless entity.”
PhillyD is also not immune to panic and hasty judgement. That’s why he condemns parents who won’t vax their kids, all while endorsing YT’s decision to demonitize anti-vax channels.
Activist post covered that sitch pretty well.
And while that panic happened, The Free Thought Project reported this:
To reiterate, as of February 21, 2019, there were only 159 cases of measles confirmed in the entire country, prompting hysteria. But when 18,000 kids a year go missing, many of them being sold into sex slavery, we hear nothing but crickets from these same people.
So the measles panic is just an excuse for the state to do what it does best… ignore real problems for the case of a few clicks.
In better news, two pig brutality officers are getting charged for thewir brutality two years ago.
But in worse news, cops searched this guy’s car, with no consent, justifying their 4A violation by fear.
In other news, it seems a “foreign aid” convoy containing barricade construction equipment for barricades. Jorge Arreaza criticized that these “aid” trucks for attempting to provoke Venezuela and engage in regime control. RT reports:
All while Jorge Ramos, a Univision reporter, was detained in Venezuela, arbitrarily.
— Univision News (@UnivisionNews) February 26, 2019
And Daniel Garrido, Telemundo correspondent covering Jorge’s sitch, was arbitrarily detained, as well.
And as that happens, Antiwar.com reports “337 Killed or Found Dead in Iraq During February”.
“194 people killed and 95 others wounded across Iraq. Another 143 bodies were discovered in mass graves.”
“At least 45 civilians, 36 security personnel, and 113 militants were killed during February. Another 55 civilians, 38 security personnel, and two militants were wounded.”
Still solo on this, except my awesome patrons, and shows like this take days of research and many hours to put together solo. I don’t have a staff to feed, but I need to eat.
